2010: Team Co-Captain… Academic All Big-Ten… Pre-Season All Big-Ten… Mid-season 2nd Team All Big-Ten… racking up 33 solo tackles and 16 assists giving a total of 49 tackles on the year… 9.5 TFLs, 1.5 sacks, and one interception with a 26 yard return.  Was an Outstanding Special teams player. 

2009: Academic All-Big Ten ... team co-captain ... started all 12 games ... ranked 25th in Big Ten and third on team with 77 tackles (61 solo, 16 assists) ... ranked eighth in Big Ten and second on team with 14.5 tackles for loss and tied for third on team with 4.5 sacks ... ranked second on squad with two forced fumbles ... recorded one interception and two pass breakups ... recorded career-high 13 tackles (11 solo, 2 assists), including 1.0 tackles for loss, vs. Toledo on Sept. 5 ... registered six tackles (5 solo, 1 assist), including 3.0 tackles for loss and 1.0 sacks, and a forced fumble at Oregon on Sept. 12 ... recorded eight tackles (6 solo, 2 assists), including 2.0 tackles for loss, and an interception vs. Northern Illinois on Sept. 19 ... led team with nine tackles (8 solo, 1 assist) at Michigan on Nov. 7. 

2008: Received team's Most Improved Award - Defense for spring practice ... did not play due to back injury 

2007: Academic All-Big Ten ... appeared in all 13 games as reserve ... had 28 tackles (21 solo, 7 assists), including 2.0 for loss and 1.0 sack ... recorded season-high six tackles (4 solo, 2 assists), including at Toledo on Sept. 1 ... equaled career high of six tackles (5 solo, 1 assist), including 1.0 sack, vs. Northwestern on Oct. 27 ... had five tackles (5 solo, 1 assist) at Indiana on Nov. 17.


*Note: Jason has had back surgery for herniated discs; he has played 2 years post surgery with no problems and has 100% medical clearance.
