2008
Ranked 2nd in the world and 1st in the US by T&FN.  Won the Silver medal at the Beijing Olympics.  World Indoor Champion for the 2nd time in his Career. Won the USA Indoor National Title.  Was 2nd at the USA Olympic Trials, 2nd at the IAAF World Athletics Final.  Won shot put events at the adidas La Invitational, Hengelo, Drake Relays, Kansas Relays, Modesto Relays, The Bridges meet in Dubnica , Slovakia, and Aarhus, Denmark.

Ranked 3rd in the world.  Won the US indoor Championships and the Visa Series; 5th at AT&T USA Outdoor Championships (20.14m/66-1); 1st at Millrose Games (21.88m/71-9); 2nd at Reebok Boston Indoor Games (21.36m/70-1);1st at adidas Track Classic (21.96m/72-0.75); 1st at Nike Prefontaine Classic champion (21.83m/71-7.5)
