ACCOMPLISHMENTS

2003: US National Outdoor Champion 800m.

2002: Ranked 4th in the world at 400ms and 1st in the USA. Won the US Indoor and Outdoor National Championships. Placed 2nd at the IAAF World Cup in Madrid running a best for the season of 50.21 seconds.

2001: Won US indoor 800m; Tyson Invitational 800 and Boston Indoor 400m. Gold medalist in 4X400m at Goodwill Games in Brisbane, Australia. 4th in the 400 at goodwill Games.

2000: 2nd in 400 ((50.23) and 800 (1:59.12) at Olympic Trials…in latter race, joins sisters-in law Hazel Clark and Joetta Clark-Diggs on Olympic team …won semifinal in 400 at USA Indoors with a world-leading 51.36 but did not compete in final because of injury… bests of 50.23 and 1:59.12.

1999: Won 800 at USA Outdoors (1:59.47)… 4th at World Outdoor Champs; also anchored silver medal winning 4x400 relay…won 400 at USA Indoors… 3rd at World Indoors… ranked #7 in world (#1 U.S.) in 400 and #4 in world (#1 U.S.) in 800…bests of 23.92i, 49.98 and 1:56.40AR.

1998: Won 400 at USA Indoors (51.11)…won the 800 at USA Outdoors (1:58.78) …400 best of 50.11 came in 4th-place run in Rome…2nd in 800 at Goodwill Games (1:59.08)…American record 1:56.43 for 2nd at Zurich's Weltklasse…4th in 800 at World Cup (2:01.58--her most disappointing race of the year, she says); anchor of 4th-place 4 x 400 (49.7 for 3:25.34)…also 23.39 at 200…ranked #5 in world (#1 U.S.) at 400 by T&FN, #2 in world (#1 U.S.) at 800…bests of 50.11 and 1:56.43.
