2007 Dan had a breakout year make the USA World Championship team which competed in Osaka, Japan. Dan finished ranked number 6 in the world in 2007.
2008 Another great year for Dan who finished 2nd at the US Olympic Trials. He went on to finish 3rd at the World Athletic Final in Stuttgart, Germany and 3rd at the Shanghai Grand prix event in Shanghai, China.
