ACCOMPLISHMENTS
2008: Placed 5th at the US Olympic Trials. All-American in the long jump after placing seventh at the NCAA Indoor Championships... ranks fifth all-time at ASU in the indoor long jump (25-04.00) and seventh outdoors (26-00.25)... also ranks tied for fourth all-time in the high jump with a clearance of 7-3.00.
2007 Outdoor: Won the 2007 Pac-10 Championship with a mark of 7.84m (25-08.75)... also won the Double Dual and Sun Angel Classic... his performance at the Double Dual was accompanied by a win the high jump with a personal best mark of 2.21m (7-03.00) and a personal best triple jump of 15.47m (50-09.25)... his high jump mark is tied for fourth on the all-time ASU list... won the high jump four times before taking runner-up honors at the Pac-10 meet... scored in a third event at the conference meet by placing fifth in the triple jump... placed 13th at the NCAA Championships in the long jump... moved onto the ASU all-time list at No. 7 with his mark of 7.93m (26-00.25) to place second in the West Region... placed 11th in the long jump (7.71m) at the USA Championships.
2007 Indoor: Earned his second career All-America honor and first of his Sun Devil career by placing seventh in the long jump at the NCAA Championships (7.63m)... won his first two meets of the year (Dan DeHart and TCR Race Invitational) before finishing second at the MPSF Championships... cleared a personal best bar of 2.08m (6-09.75) in the high jump to place second at the Mountain `T' Invitational.
Prior Highlights:
CS Fullerton: Competed for the Titans for two seasons... earned All-America honors in the long jump at the 2006 NCAA Championships with his 10th-place finish (seventh American)... scored in five events at the 2006 Big West Championships, winning the long jump (7.53m) before placing third in the 110m hurdles and high jump and fourth in the triple jump... also took sixth in the decathlon... holds school record in the 110m hurdles (14.38)... cleared 7-2.25 in the high jump.
High School: A 2004 graduate of Chaffey High School (Ontario, Calif.)... earned All-Mt.
